Edward Carnovash (nothing but one of the aliases) comes from a lineage of wizards coming from Russia (Da!). Masters of certain knowledge that should not be discovered. His family moved to the countryside of The New Continent (near Innsmouth) to blend in with the hoes and continue their studies undisturbed. Soon they entered in contact with the "Esoteric Order of Dagon They lived as factors in complete anonymity, as time passed and the children from the surrounding farms began to disappear.
Thanks to the sacrifices in honor of the "Order of Dagon" the Carnovash family also achieved a certain wealth that allowed the luxury of not having to work. They became owners of the other properties, founded a farm and later a cooperative. Edward was born two centuries ago from Zoltan and Liudmila ago in London during his parent's holidays and was immediately educated in "family practices", because it's always better to educate them as children. With the passing of time he became able to perform rites, because certain concepts and "school lessons" must necessarily be learned and studied with the proper people people. Time passes and alchemical experiments and witchcraft partaken by his parents improve thanks to his dedication and predilection in the dark arts. While growing up his father Zoltan told him the truth: he was destined to become one of the Waterborne (Deep Ones) and Zoltan's true name was "Vrtra The Worth" and when the time would have come, Also Edward should have chosen a new name that would had been followed by a deed name given by the others. He manages to get a scholarship that allows him to go to America and study in the "prodigious" and quite peculiar University of Miskatonic based in Arkham, a city known for its historical finds in New England. Needless to say, the whole thing was architected by his father to put him in touch with a friend of the family also involved in unkind and witchcraft things.
After about ten years Edward returns travels to Innsmouth full of wonders and a contract (always thanks to daddy's maneuvers) with the Marsh Company , very knowledgeable with the fish trade. He makes soon his way in the adnimistrative sector in few months. In the meantime he took the three oaths of the Cult and followed with discipline every mass in honour of Dagon.
Other time passed and the moment of his mutation came. He felt an irresistible urge to dive in the sea. Of course the moment was followed by the community who made a procession that stopped at the beach and waited Edward to turn.
The mutation was welcomed by croaking and inhuman screams. The innsmouthers mutated too and took him in the sea. Together they danced in the deep abysses of the Atlantic ocean and assigned him a deed name: "Vhukla The Apostle" because of his dedication to the practices. Edward then stood in the cold waters for 175 years. In this time frame he has been trained in the ways of the Waterbornes, far from the wars and the conflicts ongoing on the surface, because Waterbornes simply didn't cared about them. Edward came back to the surface , tasked from the Marsh Company to find more "comfortable terrain" for business. So he travelled, untile he reached Wailing Rock (If you want to know more, just ask IC).
