Tommy was born in the late eighteen hundreds in South East England, London to be exact. She was born into a family of five, having three older siblings. Upon her birth, her family was shocked to find they had a baby girl as all of her older siblings were boys. Her mother already had the name Thomas picked out and so she named her Tommy. As the baby of the family , and only daughter, she was cherished. Tommy was a wild child from the moment she took her first steps, and her family could tell. Growing up she was very rambunctious and always active, she loved to dance. At the age of fifteen tragedy had struct, Tommy had snuck out only to come home to her house in flames, her entire family had been trapped inside.
Having no family and being an orphan Tommy decided to run away from England, only to end up in the Americas. As a young homeless woman she had to earn money the only way she knew how, by dancing. As a young girl Tommy had always been intrigued by the foreign Ballet dances that came to perform in England, she would mimic them leaning their elegant movements. Being untrained as there were no official ballet companies in England until the nineteen hundreds Tommy had never had a chance to thrive until now. One cloudy day in the streets of New York Tommy had been dancing for change when a man had approached, having noticed the potential.
Years later at the age of nineteen Tommy had been practicing Ballet for four years, transforming into a sophisticated dancer. Becoming one of the "First" ballerinas of her company, having been one of the select women featured most often. Having gained some notoriety she was well known in the streets of New York, which wasn't always a good thing. In the twenty second year of her human life her reality had been changed forever. One evening after a recital Tommy had left the Theater to head home as her apartment was just a few blocks away. As she was nearing her home she felt as if she was being followed, as she peered behind her she noticed two men , she decided to take a sharp turn through a gated alley she she could circle back to the Theater. Having neared the the other side of the alley the iron gate on this side was locked. In a panic she turned around only to find the two men behind her. Her world went black.
She awoke for a short period not knowing where she was nor how many days had past. Each time she woke she was in excruciating pain, causing her to fall in and out of consciousness. When she had finally regained complete consciousness she was in a dimly lit room, and she was extremely hungry. This hunger was different. She was different.
