Single, Omnisexual
Tanith began her career in Washington state to hone the artistic talent she'd shown beginning at a young age. After being introduced to the world of tattoos and body art by an older brother, she gained an apprenticeship and spent her post-graduation years learning the trade. Following her brother's death she chose to take some time to travel, as a way to deal with her grief and to expand her experiences. For the next several years she visited many places across the US and Canada, in addition to visits to the UK and Japan. She lived and worked in Oregon, California, Illinois, and Louisiana. Recently she returned to her home state and purchased her own business, a tattoo shop in Wailing Rock.

The demon's first vivid awareness of the world of man was in the misted twilight of an early morning at the shoreline, where no human was present, nor any animal stirred. No clues were there to tell the demon why it had been drawn into the mortal world, and once crossed over, the familiar eternity of existence elsewhere was oddly vague, as mortal creatures would feel when waking from a deep sleep with dreams that, once vivid, slipped out of the memories. The demon knew about men and the world they inhabited, but could not be sure how or why it knew; just as the demon also knew that it had often savored the emotions and deeds of humans, but could not specifically recall when or where. Magic was still available to the demon, potent and familiar, remembered like an old melody or scent. Around the shoreline, the demon found no evidence of sacrifice, no remnants of rituals, no distinct sense of lingering magic if some spell had been cast. Had the demon been summoned? Had she been banished from another place?
As a creature of eternity with no solid grasp on how time passed in the natural world, the demon did not know how long it wandered before encountering humans. Discreetly, understanding that confronting them could be dangerous, the demon began to observe. At first she encountered hikers and campers, individuals and small groups whose presence reminded her of her desires and hunger. The demon fed off campers being intimate in their tents, hunters and fishers competing over the size of their kills, and savored a feast off a group of boaters in the night who slaughtered each other over packets of powder. She learned from them too, reminders of how the world of men functioned, and soon the demon determined that to freely enjoy their bounty and seek a dominion of her own, she would have to move easily among them.
The body she built for herself to inhabit did not take long to attract attention. Campers, hunters, fishermen, and others occasionally witnessed the naked woman at a distance among the trees, or stealing from their belongings if she was careless. Uniformed men and others came looking for the poor lost woman, but it did not take the demon long to outfit herself with clothing and gather some of the paper and coins that humans considered valuable. With those things the demon began her masquerade as a human, taking a name and information from a mix of those she read on plastic cards among the things she'd stolen. The transition wasn't perfect, the demon-become-human had to learn quickly, but enjoyed the challenge of devising lies and excuses for her origins. With time, learning the ways of mortal society, she completed her human persona with legal documents and a fictional background.
Eager to see more of the mortal world, to experience more of the empowering vices of humanity, the demon began to travel far from the island where she'd appeared. Years passed, experience gained, the exotic variety of what humanity could offer a demon well-explored. Then, after so long, the allure of exploring man's offerings gave way to thoughts of that old mystery, and the recollection of misty twilight on the edge of sea and forest. If there were more significant reasons for the demon's presence in the world of man, it was time for her to seek them. After being away for so long, the demon returned to Wailing Rock.
