Origin of Abilities: It is believed that a form of abilities beyond understanding is a staple of the Volkoff DNA. It is also suggested that Vic's abilities may be the result of an indescribably lesser elder god that is stuck to his soul. It could be possible that this being is what controls his third personality.
Weaknesses: Cynophobia (fear of dogs). He has had a few as pets and now has a puppy so the fear is exclusive to dogs he does not know well. The Dissociative Identity Disorder makes social situations occasionally difficult and sometimes dangerous. His abilities wear on his system causing severe migraines, brain fog, body aches, lethargy and other symptoms.
Biography
Vicus Volkoff is the Americanized Russian son of a psychotic master scientist/surgeon named Oleg Volkoff; A man who worked among Japanese and Russian medical scientists at Unit 731. Vicus had narrowly escaped becoming his father's prodigy by joining the military. Said initiation into the military moved him from country to country giving him a great deal of access to the widespread underground torture-labs his father was associated with.
His time with the military was spent destroying or at the very least undermining these operations. His vendetta against the facilities and cults that worked to torture and kill on the basis of science lead him into work with both the Spetsnaz and American special forces. He has also worked to bring down a few cults but found himself drawn in to at least two of them where he had eventually come to his senses. The first cult he brought down from within, the second had already fallen apart around him by the time the brainwashing wore off.
Having given up the military angle, Vicus now works alone and self employs himself with DJing and his private medical office. There is his even more private contracting and investigation business that has faded over time though he is still willing to investigate for friends. He is constantly in the limbo of trying a combination of medication and treatment that will curb his psychosis.
