Personality
Tends to be an introvert, remaining to himself, shy and distant from others until he gets to know people. Those he does befriend he tends to care a great deal for. He’s a bit of a nerd, a gamer, both electronic games, and board games.
Smart with computers, knows a few programming languages. For as long as he’s been interested in sex, Jake had found attraction to both men and women, though often leaned more toward masculine. This part of him scared him, as he was raised among a conservative religious family. He refused to acknowledge his own feelings and desires for many years fearing to even give in to any of the desires.
History
Born in Houston Texas, Jake moved to Seattle Washington for school to study computer arts (computer programming) in 2004. For first time in his life he did allow himself to explore some of his sexual fantasies with other guys, but he always kept it on the down low, telling no one, and certainly he never acknowledged to himself that he might be gay, or at least bi. Jake graduated in Spring of 2008, with a BA in computer arts/programming. Having high hopes for a job, he planned to remain in Seattle for a tech job. Managing to score a job in late June, he was there all of a few weeks before the market crash of 2008 occurred, and half of the companies employees, including himself were laid off.
His family tried to talk him into moving home, however he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop having one off dl fun with guys, fearing his family would discover him he tried to make it work out for him in Seattle.
Jake took a job working as a barista at a cafe one of his board game groups met once a month. Shortly after he started dating a girl from his game group, and for awhile he thought he’d been ‘cured’ from his homosexual sins. The two married quick in late 2009, and Jake did manage to tell his wife about his sexual desires and feelings toward men and she was helpful and understanding to him. With her help he managed understand he was normal, and became alright with the fact he was bi. He learned that she too had been bi. This helped the two grow even closer as a result. He did manage to find work at a small web development firm and for a while things seemed to be going great in his life. In 2011 the couple had a son, a few years later in 2017 on their child's 6th birthday they took him camping. His family had a great time, that is until their last night at the campground. Jake and his family were attacked by what at first thought was a wild animal. Turned out, it was a lycan, he lost his son, and wife in the attack, and very nearly lost his own life. Jake in turn had become infected although he didn’t really know it yet. Devastated at the loss of his family, he did manage to develop a close friendship with the hiker who found him the next morning. During the next full moon, he discovered what attacked him, when he became it. He also learned his new friend who found him was a wolf as well, although not the one who attacked his family. He was rather disgusted by what he’d become, and still devastated at the loss of his family but with the help of friends he managed to pull his life together in the last three years.
Feeling a need for change Jake headed to a more rural area, wanting to make a simpler life for himself.
